Not so much complaints but the room was mainly bed, bathroom was mainly shower. If I had put on weith I would have struggled to move!
Access to main attractions and shops. Transportation was great as it close to Paddington station.
Nothing. Breakfast service could be improved in terms ot keeping to the time advertised.
Very quiet so close to Paddington Station. You can get there, towing a large case, in 5 minuters. Close to good restaurants. It is just right for tired travellers on off-peak tickets forced to spend a night in Town!
Only plus point is the convenient location with easy access to transport avenues and restaurants
This hotel has only dingy rooms, most of the time boiler is out of order and the guests are left with no hot water. There is no elevator to upper floors and guests have to carry baggages all by themselves through an unusually narrow staircase. Breakfast is hopless and tasteless. Staff is extremely unhelpful with "take it or leave it" attitude.
The only good thing I can say for this hotel is the location is excellent and the bed was comfortable and seemed clean.
The room is completely gross. The carpet looks as though it has never been cleaned, the bathroom although at first glance looked ok, the toilet was disgusting and my husband had to clean it. We didnt even take showers the next day and waited until we got home. They are too small for adults and not clean. There is supposed to be 24 hour Hotel assistance yet when we got back to the hotel at about midnight we had to wait upto 20 minutes for someone to let us in and when I asked where he was I was told I was being rude. I explained that we had been waiting and ringing the bell, even phoning the hotel and it was unacceptable to keep your paying guests waiting outside. I was totally put off by this and thought he was completely out of line. There was no doubt in my mind he was outside on the balcony they have smoking or socializing. I would never stay at this hotel again!!!!
Shower/toilet impossibly small but that is typical of the small budget hotels in the area.Only one towel - a small bath towel - supplied. Breakfast a surly experience with an abrupt end at 9 am.
It is close to Hyde Park, which is a very beautiful park.
It faces a road with lots of noise. And, the bathroom is to small for a relative fat person.
We liked the good position, near the Paddington station and the Hyde Park. Small but confortable, and the staff is very nice.
The bathroom is very small, but the shower space is confrotable
Location, price, helpfull staff.
Position of Hotel excellent, reception area and breakfast room nice.Night staff on reception very nice and good service at breakfast.
The most shabbiest room we have ever stayed in, Beds very old and uncomfortable, carpet was dirty and made up of many pieces. Bathroom fittings very old and toilet stained. We had a basement room with the outlook of a small courtyard full of cigarette butts and litter and a ladder which we presume would be the fire exit!
The location was perfect and the reception stuff helpfull.
Having stayed in quite a few hotels in this area the springfield hotel is the worst. Breakfast served before you could finish your cereal ,and cold and of a very poor standard ,rooms old and tired small balcony outside window full of cigarette butts .Would not recommend this hotel
Everything was actually fine, the stuff at the reception was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was ok,the room was small but comfortable, but the best was the location with many shops and pubs just around the corner and only 15min walk to oxford street....we will come back for sure...
The 2 ladies working at the the kitchen making breakfast were a bit unfrendly...
Very comfortable bed.
Very poor facilities in the shower room, loose tiles, loose tap, no sink plug.
nice staff, very friendly.. and proximity of hotel to paddington station
noise from the streets could be heard all night
